The Yuck Print House has been churning out inventive posters for a number of years – drawing from a bank of over 20 artists and art collectives, both local and international – and have up until now existed on a diet of pop-up exhibitions, art fairs and online notoriety. It is no doubt with some excitement, that they approach this new milestone in their life cycle: the opening of their own permanent space in Chorlton. Though only open at weekends, the new venue offers exhibition space for their roster of talent and a place for the discerning punter to purchase their varied works. The location is perfect, being a mere stroll from Unicorn grocery and at the epicentre of Chorlton’s artistic community. The Printhouse will also be offering workshops in screen and risograph printing pitched at both adults and children – providing a unique day out, and hopefully inspiring a new generation of printmakers!
