Chorlton’s hippest hangout Oddest bar has unveiled its new DJ residents as the Ad Hoc collective, who run funk, soul and disco nights across the country, as well as their own label and radio station. The seasoned selectors host Saturday nights at Oddest from 9pm until 1.30am (one of the latest opening times in Chorlton), taking over the party responsibilities from Manchester’s longest running hiphop collective and world-wide festival regulars Taste The Diff’rence who bring hiphop & funk every Friday. Friday happy hour runs from 5pm until 10pm and offers include selected cocktails for £5-6, Amstels for £3, Oddest’s Ale for £2.50 and bottles of wine for £10.  As well as serving up free live Djs on Fridays and Saturdays – and drinks offers galore – there’s the perfect antidote to all that partying in the shape of the best Sunday roast in Chorlton. Choose from slow-cooked meats or veggies, corn-fed chicken and cider braised pork belly and round off your weekend in style at Oddest.
