Fast food outlet Pita Pit is set to open at Piccadilly Place in Manchester – the alliterative potential of which almost hurts. Due to open in October, the franchise’s first UK opening will offer its customers a varied selection of meat and vegetarian pita wraps all grilled to order, and there will also be all-day breakfast pitas ideal for those either plodding to work or the delicate souls severely suffering from the night before. Whether it’s a burrito, dosa, fajita or kebab, wrapped foods have always been popular thanks to their ability to blanket the innards and allow you to take them on the go, meaning Pita Pit should fit pretty well into the hustle and bustle of central Manchester.
