Creating music’s cutting edge since 1985, Eastern Bloc Records is a Manchester institution. Selling vinyl to fans and DJs alike, they’ve helped launch a thousand Manchester faces on the international circuit and are a must visit for music’s movers and shakers when in town. Since February 2015, the store have been hosting a Thursday residency at The Blue Pig to celebrate 30 years in the game – and they’re back with a special afterparty for Record Store Day 2015 this Saturday. Head down to The Blue Pig for quality music on vinyl courtesy of Eastern Bloc Records residents and special guests. Acts announced so far include: Mark Turner and Moid (Arthouse). Expect a mix of soul, reggae, house and electronica from the experts.
