Whether searching for that perfect gift, award-winning craft beers or a slice of artisan pie, the Spinningfields edition of the Makers Market is a day out to savour. Their sixth weekender of the year caters for all your culinary, fashion-focused and artistic needs for the day and beyond. Traders taking over Manchester’s central, pedestrianised plaza this weekend include All About Pies and Cumbrian Pies both vying for your pastry-fuelled savoury attention, Baked With Love who make gourmet macarons and mouthwatering ‘doorstop sized’ brownies by Ian Treats. Why not stock up for another day, or simply take the opportunity to browse the works of a wide range of artists? As well as textiles, jewellery and glass wares, explore stalls devoted to canine fashion (such as Bib and Tucker and Pixie Posh Pets) and garden wares. No matter what your passion, you’ll find something to delight at the city centre’s leading independent traders market. Music to your ears comes courtesy of DJ Pasta Paul on Saturday and and Tommalam on Sunday while street food traders include BBQ experts Oh My Glaze and What’s Your Beef’s gourmet burgers.
