Levenshulme Market is branching out with a special night market this Friday night. Levy’s night markets are legendary party events and this one has been specially planned to celebrate the opening of their summer season with food, drink, entertainment for all running from 4pm until 9pm. The whole family is welcome to come along and enjoy live music from Leonard Skully Records, a face painter for kids (free between 4pm and 6pm) plus there will be even more street food sellers than usual to choose from. Keep an eye on the @LevyMarket Twitter for up to the minute details, but confirmed scran so far includes gourmet mac’n’cheese, Polish dumplings, beef and veggie burgers, ice cream, grilled seafood, Burmese cuisine, mini cheesecakes, Dutch pancakes, wild game, boozy coffees and lots more. There will be a bar too. Following the night market special, there will be no regular market on Saturday (30 May). Levy Market returns on Saturday 6 June, when the market hours will be 10am-4pm, as usual.
