If you head down to West Didsbury this Sunday, you’ll find the Makers’ Market. Located adjacent to Withington Hospital, the market will feature a host of stalls selling toys, jewellery, furnishing, and ornaments. It’s not just crafts on offer, but also foods, including artisan breads, hand-crafted cheeses, and delicatessen meats. The special musical guest is the tea-cosy wearing troubadour Badly Drawn Boy. The Greater Manchester-native clearly gives his seal of approval to the event, having played at the market earlier this year. Other confirmed musical acts are Charlie Cooper, the Matt Wolff Band, and Mano McLaughlin. The Makers’ Market will take place in Didsbury on the last Sunday of every month, until December. It also takes place regularly in Cheadle, Knutsford, and Middlewich.
