The Makers Market returns to Spinningfields this weekend with crafts, street food, fine art and vintage finds – plus free yoga classes provided by The Life Centre yoga studios. The family friendly weekender includes over 70 artisan stalls selling very best in Northern produce. Enjoy sourdough breads, gourmet street food, fine chocolate and a whole lot more. Love pies? Pick up a treat from All About Pies, Cheshire Pie and The Cumbrian Pie Co. Satisfy your sweet tooth with homemade Macarons from Baked With Love MCR or try one of Ian Treat’s famous door-stop sized brownies. Look out for eye catching delights from Ben Sedman’s photographs of Manchester to handmade jewellery from POG Handmade – plus there’s greenery by Shrubbies and canine fashions from Sweetpea And Boo too. Alongside craft beer and gourmet coffee stalls, there’s a fully stocked Street Food Arena that includes vendors like I Knead Pizza, Whats Your Beef burgers and Oh My Glaze, with tunes selected by by DJs Pasta Paul (all day Sat) and Tommalams (all day Sun). Free 45 minute yoga sessions take place on Saturday (15 Oct) at noon and Sunday (16 Oct) at 2pm. Both are vinyasa flow sessions (ie moving, fun and relaxed classes), taught outdoors in the market on mats beside the Life Centre stall.
