Manchester’s Hard Rock Cafe is looking for unsigned bands to enter its global ‘battle of the bands’ -style competition this Spring. Budding Bowies, Blondies and Hendrixes should enter by Friday 30 March via the Hard Rock Rising website for a chance to perform at the Manchester venue as part of a showcase on Wednesday 24 May. Each Hard Rock Cafe taking part in the Hard Rock Rising challenge selects a shortlist of the most impressive local unsigned acts. The band showcasing the most originality, promise and songwriting skill from this line up will be selected to go through to the next round of the international music contest. The top prize is the chance to perform on one of the biggest stages of them all – the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Other prizes include a professionally-produced music video, Fender gear, cash and more. For now though, the aim is to wow the keen-eared panel of music industry judges to make it through to the next stage. Register online by Friday 30 March via the link below.
