Ever the innovators, Video Jam swaps its usual collaborative film night for a unique exhibition next month, as it teams up with its artists and designers to launch Record Store Day (Saturday 19 April). Taking place at Soup Kitchen, Video Jam have tasked its collaborators with creating a 3D sculpture relevant to the theme of Records – whether it be sleeves and inserts or the actual records themselves, melted and moulded into something new. Featuring artists and designers across a broad spectrum expect a huge range of forward-thinking ideas – from the likes of Paul ‘himHallows’ Hallows, Deborah Barrett, Fat Out, Jack Welsh, Michael Holland, Rule of 3, Deep Hedonia, Moderate Twat Kissa, Lou Woodcock Slip Discs, WULF Collective, Perk Productions and more.
