Manchester’s Arndale Market Food Hall is buzzing right now. There’s the hugely popular Micro Bar, run by Boggart Hole Clough brewery and selling a host of English ales and draught choices, including the deliciously dry likes of Jever Pilsener and Küppers Kölsch. Panchos Burrito serve what many claim to be the finest Mexican burritos in Manchester as well as selling raw ingredients like six types of chilli. And now there’s Viet Shack. The Vietnamese street food outlet has been open less than a month but their summer rolls (from £2.50 for two) and spicy Viet chicken wraps are already the stuff of Instagram legend. Stock usually sells out by around 2.30pm, so get down early doors. We particularly like the mint and lemon water-based ‘summer coolers’ they’re selling for £1 on the side. You heard it here first.
