Debut novelist, Sarah Tierney, heads to Waterstones Deansgate for the launch of her book about loss, love, and unexpected romantic connections. Published by Sandstone Press, Making Space tells of Miriam, on the cusp of her 30s who falls in love with an obsessive hoarder in his mid-40s who is still haunted by the end of his marriage. In amongst all this they’ve got to try and find a way to reach other. The event is hosted by one of Manchester’s finest spoken word performers and writers, Michelle Green who conducts a Q&A with Tierney, followed by questions from the audience and a book signing.
