It’s an unwritten rule that you shouldn’t put a comedy night on in August. Mostly because every one of them is up in Edinburgh performing to disparate crowds at the Fringe. It would take something pretty special to make promoters such as Group Therapy put something on in that notoriously quiet month. That something pretty special is ‘America’s Funnyman’ Neil Hamburger. If you’re familiar with Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job then you’ll probably be familiar with Hamburger. He is the hardest working comedian in existence performing up to 399 shows a year internationally to critical acclaim and audience bewilderment. He has opened for Tim & Eric live, Tenacious D, and rather oddly Faith No More and is one of the most revered acts on the American circuit. The only show he will be performing in the UK outside of London and Edinburgh, Hamburger is a rare treat and a true great comedian. Brilliantly written material is married with unique stage presence, this is a must see for any comedy fans.
