Thu 8 Oct – Murlo & Chimpo @ Antwerp Mansion
Just in time for the influx of students to Manchester, Thursday sees the launch of Different Gravy, a new clubnight at Antwerp – and it’s launching with a bang. Murlo’s been taking over the world recently, with an incoming EP on the legendary Mixpak Records and a recent US tour under his belt. There isn’t a better DJ at blending dancehall with more club-friendly tackle and is able to please even the most stubborn of crowds. Joining Murlo will be the mighty Chimpo, no stranger to a dubplate or two, with Fox hosting proceedings for the night. Huge tip for a nice bit of midweek raving.

Fri 9 Oct – Space Dimension Controller @ 1 Primrose Street
Ossia launches a new series of nights, with a focus on the DJs that can take you on a real journey. R&S Records’ SDC is an extremely fitting choice, with a repertoire stretching far beyond your average house and techno disc jockey. He’s slated to play for five hours – plenty of time to explore his record collection and plenty of time to get yourself in that party state of mind. There’s a promise of an afterparty for the real dedicated ravers too.

Sat 10 Oct – A Manchester Madhouse @ Secret Warehouse Location
Hit&Run presents a party within a mysterious city centre warehouse venue – one that will only be disclosed after texting a phone number on the day of the rave. Some of Manchester’s finest will be helping to launch the venue: with selected DJs and performers from The Mouse Outfit, Levelz, Dub Smugglers and Swing Ting among others. With a license that runs until 6am, it’s pretty fair that this one will be living up to its Madhouse billing.
