Soccerex, the sports networking company, is hosting a free Football Festival this Sunday. The venue is Manchester Central, which will be host to a purpose-built arena. The main event of the festival is World Street 3s, where the teams have only three players and no goalie. Eight teams from different countries will compete to be crowned world champions. The sport focusses on displays of athleticism, so the teams will be showing off all their flair and talent. Other attractions include Panna Cages, which allow people play one-on-one in close quarters. There will also be tutorials for people looking to improve their freestyle skills. Spectators will have a lot to enjoy, as there will be showcases of skill by some of the world’s best street soccer players. This looks like it could be a very popular event, so the organisers have advised people to arrive early to guarantee entry.
