Shakespeare’s First Folio at John Rylands Library
The John Rylands Library on Deansgate is home to an impressive collection of old, rare and first-edition books. This Wednesday you can take a look at some of their most prized possessions: This antique copy of Shakespeare’s First Folio and the first edition of his sonnets. You’ll be taken through them by the library’s curator, who’ll be talking about the books and their importance to literature and publishing. No booking required, but make sure you turn up on time!

It’s a night of free jungle presented by Bloc2Bloc and Strictly Bass records, with 2014’s Mr. Jungle vocalist MC B.I.C bringing the noise, along with Big Al, Leggo Dan and Jah Corky.
