Following on from their popular quizzes celebrating Christmas and Valentine’s Day, Joshua Brooks will be commemorating all things ludicrous about the United States of USA. Hosts Patrick (Piccadilly Records) and Duncan (fresh off tour supporting Americans Paramore with Dutch Uncles) will be overseeing the yankee doodle dandy time everyone’s sure to have, with offers on the bar’s American ale range plus free sweets and cocktails for all (patriots). These quizzes only take place every so often – so we probably shouldn’t expect the same treatment for Bastille Day 10 days later – and are as fun as they are trivial.
