The team behind the Peak District’s two AA Rosette restaurant, hotel and spa, Losehill House, are set to open their first Manchester restaurant this July called Grafene. Paul and Kathryn Roden have made a £1m investment into former site of Brasserie Blanc off King Street. The modern British restaurant will be joined by a cocktail and champagne bar as well as open pastry kitchen and two private dining areas. Food will include an a la carte menu, a seven-course taster menu and small plate options, with a focus on local suppliers. Watch this space for more.

From July 2016, Grafene, 55 King Street, Manchester M2 4LQ. www.grafene.co.uk
