Local folk favourite Liam Frost is among those confirmed to perform at the one-off Made Here event at London Road Fire Station. The event marks an opportunity to see the resurrected Manchester landmark in all its glory, with the added incentive of a whole host of Manchester’s makers, bakers and creators along for the party. While soaking up acoustic ballads strummed and sung by Frost, who tops a stellar list of local live musicians, you can browse and buy at the lengthy list of stalls featuring some of the best designers, creatives and foodies in the city. Sharing their wares will be home decor by Hand Studio, interior design by Lazerian, scooters by Swifty and terrarium gift ideas by The Glass Gardener, while The Modernist’s magazines and Not Quite Light’s photography will also be on display. For the cherry on top, the chance to chomp on Honest Crust’s pizza or Well Hung’s steaks and swill down ales by Track or Alphabet will make it a Saturday out to remember.
