Bank Holiday weekend is nearly upon us bringing a new, three day Makers Market to the Lowry Outlet’s open-air plaza in Salford Quays. The Lowry Outlet and Markers Market have teamed up for the first time to bring shoppers the kind of quality artisan foods, drinks and award-winning crafts that the Makers Markets have been serving up across the region all summer. Visit the market to sample the goods of over a 100 makers and bakers of the course of the bank holiday weekend selling everything from award-winning cheeses and pies to locally brewed ales, gourmet brownies, fancy tarts, rustic bread, spicy sauces, locally produced jams and chutneys, salt and spice gins. There’s a wealth of finds to explore for the home too, from vintage trinkets and handmade crafts to photography and contemporary planters. Vendors change on a daily basis, meaning that you can come every day and find something new. Other treats include live music from the Loose Change Buskers playing timeless hits like Brown Eyed Girl and Country Road.
