Love veggie food? Make a beeline for Oddest where the newly expanded menu includes mouthwatering roasts, curries, koftas and more – all 100 percent meat free. The extensive small plates selection is perfect for sharing over a cocktail and veggie specials include sweet potato and polenta koftas, bell peppers with goats cheese and grilled rosemary and smoked garlic halloumi. Tuck into 3 for £13 or 5 for £20 including feta and spinach parcels, and chargrilled artichoke hearts with homemade salsa verde. Prefer a big dish? The Thai-inspired massaman curry is a rich, coconut-cream based feast made with potato, spinach, purple broccoli (add a protein boost with chicken if you like), or go for a warming chestnut mushroom and roast celariac one-pot, lifted into the next league with truffle mascarpone. Veggies will love Oddest sweet potato and polenta burger and the Sunday roasts (changing weekly) with broccoli cheese, giant yorkshires and lashings of veggie gravy. There’s an extensive sandwich menu too including the ‘Veggie A Trois’ triple decker sandwich with goats cheese, sun-blush pesto and peppers and meat eaters aren’t left out in the cold. Sundays are a great day all around with roasts options such as corn fed chicken, stout braised beef brisket and succulent cider-soaked pork belly. All are a cut above and perfect with with wines matched by award-winning sommeliers, Bibendum.

Oddest Bar, 414-416 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 0SD, Tel: 0161 860 7515, Mon-Thu: 12pm-11.30pm, Fri: 12pm-1.30am, Sat: 10am-1.30am, Sun: 10am-11.30pm, FREE, www.oddestbar.co.uk

All good except can you take out ‘gourmet pies’ as we don’t do any pies. Also the sweet potato and polenta burger is new, so maybe reword the ‘veggies will already know’ to just include Sunday Roasts and move the burger elsewhere?

Lovely stuff! Thank you J x
