Reform Radio have really come into being at the right time. A synergetic relationship with the forthcoming regeneration of the Old Granada Studios (by Allied London, also behind London Road Fire Station’s revival) has seen them transform unused dubbing suites into the best studios in the area steeped in the legacy of what went before. Delivering the best that Manchester has to offer in tight two-hour shows, both with regular hosts and guest takeovers, it only took them three months to be selected by Mixcloud as one of their Top 20 stations globally in 2015. With this event, they celebrate a year of 24 hour broadcasting online with (what else?) a live broadcast from Islington Mill. Multi genre don Mr Beatnick headlines, well known for his productions spanning hip hop, techno and house styles. Al Zanders, aka Lodger, is most well known for his remix of Fela Kuti’s Odoo from last year. The extremely well respected Ruf Dug, a Reform veteran himself, rounds off a killer troika. The event will be broadcast live on www.reformradio.co.uk.
