The Monochrome Set are one of the most important and influential bands to emerge from the post punk scene in the late 70s. Formed in 1978 by vocalist Ganesh Seshadri and guitarist Lester Square, the band’s associates went on to form the likes of Adam and the Ants, while the Monochrome Set went on to bridge the gap between freak beat and post punk, paving the way bands like The Smiths. They’ve influenced everyone from Orange Juice to The Divine Comedy, Graham Coxon and Franz Ferdinand. This tour is in support of new album, Spaces Everywhere.
