Great news for fans of Tea Hive’s moreish cakes and laid back vibe – Tea Hive are now open in Alexandra Park in Whalley Range as a permanent and full-time operation. The original and excellent Chorlton branch is often full at lunchtimes and weekends, and now they’re serving their famous salted caramel chocolate cake, plus paninis, soups, toasted cheese, mushrooms on toast, and much more each day from 10am to 6pm. There is a big family fun day mooted to launch the cafe proper on Saturday 6 June too – so watch this space for more.
