Feeling great now looks even better with the newly renovated Virgin Active Salford Quays health club and spa, overlooking the historic waterfront. Thanks to a huge £4.5m club investment, the gym floor, fitness studios and pool have all been transformed. Now, as well as the state of the art swimming complex including steam room and sauna alongside studios and fitness equipment, there’s a new fitness zone called the GRID. This high-intensity training room is where Virgin Active run classes such as GRID Strong, and GRID Active, with a focus on getting visible, long-term results, fast. Other classes include dynamic ashtanga yoga, a new and distinctly uplifting class called Pulse powered by Clubbercise (a cross between a night out and a fitnesss class – could you ask for more?) and many others. The fitness studios are huge, light-filled spaces that have recently featured on Strictly Come Dancing. The result is a more healthy, active you. Fancy trying it out for size? We’ve got two day passes to Virgin Active Salford Quays up for grabs. To be in with a chance of winning, simply email competitions [at] ManchesterWire [dot] co [dot] uk, with the answer to the following question. Please include your name, age, phone number and Twitter handle. The competition closes on Friday 4 December at midnight.
