Jamaican roots legend Cedric Myton is set to perform in Manchester this September. Brought up on the twin Caribbean totems of cricket and reggae, Myton’s pursuit of the latter has seen him perform with The Tartans and The Royal Rases in the 1960s before forming the Congos in 1977. This Band on the Wall show sees the original line-up nearly 40 years on from the release of their classic album produced by Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Heart of the Congos. To be in with a chance of winning one of two pairs of tickets to the gig, simply send an email to competitions at manchesterwire dot co dot uk with Cedric Myton in the subject line. Please include your name, age, Twitter handle and telephone number. The competition closes at midnight Wednesday 31 August 2016 and winners will be informed by Twitter the next day.

UNFORTUNATELY THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
