Grammy hoarding trumpeter Terence Blanchard will be giving a dose of authentic New Orleans jazz to Kendal, Bradford and Warrington as part of his Jazz Director residency programme. The residency is the first of its kind and will see the multi-talented jazzman Blanchard leading the Inner City Ensemble through some of the North’s finest venues. We have a pair of tickets to give away at your choice of venue. Choose from Kendal’s Brewery Arts Centre, Warrington’s Pyramid and Bradford’s Playhouse. To be in with a chance of winning, send an email to competitions at manchesterwire dot co dot uk with the subject line ‘Terence Blanchard competition’. Please include your name, age, phone number and Twitter handle. The competition closes at midnight on Wednesday 14 September, and we’ll notify the winner by Twitter and email.
