Manchester Wire readers have the chance to win two tickets to one of the first UK screenings of Meditation Creativity Peace, a documentary by cult director and Transcendental Mediation (TM) practitioner, David Lynch. The film follows Lynch on a 16-country tour of Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, exploring the individual and global impact of meditation. His foundation (The David Lynch Foundation) supports the teaching of TM in schools and among other social groups, such as prison inmates and the homeless community. It is something he has practised for the last 40-odd years and is clearly passionate about. It’s not totally OTT in the TM department though, as the film also includes insights into the Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive director’s creative processes, through interviews and verite footage.
