10 x 10: an exhibition to launch Design Manchester

Something we can deem boundless is our imagination; it is something we can control and it can travel to the deepest depths of our conscience. Design Manchester will be returning after last year’s highly successful debut with the theme ‘Science of Imagination’. It is a festival celebrating creativity, collaboration and inclusivity amongst artists of various disciplines in the UK and beyond. To mark the launch, the 10 x 10 exhibition will see unusual partnerships between 20 creatives delivering innovative and imaginative works with artists such as Micah Purnell, Jane Bowyer and Brendan Dawes, who uses 3D printing technology to represent the works of legendary Mancunian artists like Joy Division and 808 State in sculpture form. 10 x 10 serves as a creative platform for Manchester’s home-grown talent on a national and international scale: witness it.
