Acclaimed chef, Aiden Byrne, is heading up D&D’s ambitious new 20 Stories restaurant, bar and roof terrace at the top of Allied London’s No. 1 Spinningfields building from February 2018. The new restaurant, run by the multi-national D&D group will seat 300 and enjoy panoramic views of the city. By some trick, it’s set to be the highest place to eat or drink in the city, being slightly more elevated than the Hilton’s Cloud 23 bar. Soft opening is scheduled for the week around 20 February, with the official launch set for Thursday 1 March. Menus have just been released and include crab thermidore, grilled native lobster, and sharing dishes such as best end of Texel lamb with potato dauphinoise and duck egg custard with cinnamon ice cream.
