King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard bring a one-off rave show to Aviva Studios

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are set to perform a special one-off rave set at Avvia Studios, home of Factory International, this October.

The renowned experimental group, best known for their raucous guitars and fuzzy distortion pedals, will reimagine their usual sound for the dancefloor, trading in their usual instruments for a fully modular synthesis table.

Coming to The Warehouse at Aviva Studios on Fri 31 Oct, the Halloween special will see King Gizzard journey through their expansive oeuvre — which currently sits at an astonishing 26 albums — and transform it into an innovative, club-ready party mix that stays true to the group’s ambitious, improvised and epiphanic ethos.

Presented by Manchester music stalwarts, Now Wave, the show offers a unique chance to see one of King Gizzard’s most ambitious and unlikely evolutions to date.
