Fat Dog, known for their notoriously rowdy live shows, come to Aviva Studios this November for their biggest gig to date.
Presented by Mancunian music veterans, Now Wave, the special Day of the Dead (Day of the Dog) Halloween show marks a major milestone for the group, whose reputation as a fearsome live act has cemented them as one of the most exciting new bands around.
Fat Dog came together in 2021, with singer Joe Love deciding to form a group and take the demos he had been making at home as a way to keep himself sane during lockdown out into the world.
Without releasing any music, the group quickly made a name for themselves with a series of exhilarating and/or wonky shows across south London – with those formative gigs forming the bedrock of what Fat Dog were all about.
Fast forward just a few years, and we’ve now got their critically acclaimed debut album, WOOF, which is a thrilling blend of electro-punk, rock’n’roll, techno soundscapes, industrial-pop and rave euphoria, and the stages that Fat Dog have graced continue to grow rapidly.
With more acts still to be announced, Fat Dog’s Day of the Dog promises a massive, loud night in the Aviva Studios Warehouse. Tickets are on sale now, grab yours using the button below.
