A brand-new bar specialising in burgers, games and live music is set to open on Manchester’s First Street this winter.
9INETY 6IX will take over the former WOOD restaurant site, promising a ‘laid back’ setting with pool, darts, shuffleboard, air hockey and a ‘Mario Kart cabinet’.
The food menu is made up of classic comfort dishes like stacked burgers, fried chicken, loaded fries and ‘budget-friendly drinks’, with the venue also hosting regular live music nights, open mic sessions, and DJ sets.
Andrew Flaherty, owner of 9INETY 6IX, says: “We wanted 9inety 6ix to feel like home – whether you’re grabbing a pint after work, playing games with your mates, or jumping on stage for open mic. It’s about creating a space that’s welcoming, unpretentious, and made for Manchester.”
The venue officially opens the first week of December, with a confirmed date coming soon.
