Post-rock titans Mogwai return to Manchester next February, closing out their UK tour with a headline show at O2 Apollo on Thu 27 Feb.

Presented in partnership with Albert Hall and Brudenell, the run celebrates three decades of pioneering sonic panoramas, with the band set to perform material from across their vast, versatile catalogue alongside cuts from their acclaimed 11th studio record, The Bad Fire. Released earlier this year, the album has drawn plaudits for its blistering scope and haunting textures, and was helmed by Grammy-winning producer John Congleton (St Vincent, Angel Olsen, John Grant). Recent singles Lion Rumpus, God Gets You Back and Fanzine Made of Flesh have quickly become fan favourites.

Joining them on the night is renowned Merseyside experimentalist Forest Swords, whose fractured beats and spectral atmospheres offer the perfect prelude to Mogwai’s entrancing power.

Book tickets below for an unmissable evening of tectonic riffs, hypnotic rhythms and raw, enveloping sound.
