A new Hi-Fi bottle shop, pop-up bar and event space will open its doors in Stretford this weekend.
Located on the newly-restored King Street in Stretford town centre, the concept comes from local event specialists Rainy Heart, who say the venue will offer a vibrant space for artistic events, activities and a platform for local talent and voices of the Stretford community.
Opening from Fri 3 Oct, visitors can expect film screening facilities and a fortnightly film club, a cutting-edge sound system from Turn End Audio, a LIVE Steam Radio broadcast takeover and DJ setup, and community-led events like band nights, talks, board game competitions and art shows.
The team at Rainy Heart are now looking for people to share their ideas for events, social nights and shows to come to the space for free. The new pop-up venue will form part of a series of activities and events coming to King Street, designed to bring the community together and create opportunities for exploring the town’s new civic space through culture, play and connection.
