Odd Future alumnus Syd heads to Albert Hall this August

Alternative R&B trailblazer Syd heads to Manchester this August, bringing her long-awaited third solo album Beard to Albert Hall for a one-off show on Bank Holiday Monday.

First emerging as a core member of the influential hip-hop collective Odd Future before co-founding acclaimed R&B outfit The Internet, Syd has spent the past decade shaping a sleek, understated sound that blends soul, funk and electronic production with effortless style. Her songwriting and production have also seen her collaborate with artists across contemporary R&B and hip-hop, cementing her status as one of the genre’s most distinctive creative voices.

Released via Warner imprint Free Lunch Records, Beard features collaborations with Raphael Saadiq, Big Sean, Rodney Jerkins, James Fauntleroy, Van Hunt and Jordan Ward, alongside lead single Callin with Florida duo Blu DeTiger.
