Zouk Tea Bar & Grill has announced the launch of a new monthly networking event, connecting Manchester businesses and professionals over fantastic food at the long-running Indian favourite.
The first Zouk Connect will take place at the restaurant on Thu 24 Sep. Held on Zouk’s private mezzanine, the lunchtime events will bring together business owners, founders, entrepreneurs, consultants, senior professionals and representatives from organisations across Greater Manchester.

Rather than traditional speed networking or sales-led introductions, Zouk Connect is designed around informal conversations and relationship-building. Each event will also feature a guest speaker or short business insight session, alongside a banquet-style Zouk lunch.

Tayub Amjad, founder of Zouk Tea Bar & Grill, said: “We’ve hosted business lunches, meetings, corporate dinners and networking events at Zouk for years, and so many opportunities start with something as simple as putting the right people in the same room.
“That’s really where the idea for Zouk Connect came from. We want to create a regular place where people from Manchester’s business community can meet over lunch, have useful conversations and build relationships without feeling like they’re being sold to.
Manchester has an incredible business community, and we’re excited to see what happens when we start bringing different parts of it together around the Zouk table.”

The launch comes as Zouk continues to develop its corporate offering, which includes private dining, meetings and events, corporate catering and exclusive venue hire.
Zouk Connect will be open to people from businesses and organisations of all sizes and across different industries, with organisers hoping the mix of attendees will encourage connections that may not happen within more sector-specific networking groups.
The Founding Zouk Connect lunch will take place from 12pm–2pm on Thu 24 Sep, with registration beginning at 11.45am. Tickets cost £20 per person, including lunch, with places limited.
