A free, family-friendly festival is heading to Stockport for the first time ever this weekend.
Happening on Sun 16 Aug, the Stopford House Party is a brand-new festival set to take over the Brutalist square outside Stopford House.
Visitors can expect live jazz from the Ted Branson Quartet, beer, wine and soft drinks from local favourites Runaway Brewery, delicious food from Aunty Lou’s and Stockport Provisions, and coffee from Stockport newcomers, HUSTLE.

There’ll also be a series of workshops running throughout the day, including:
- Free drop-in badge-making with Local Press Club
- Free kite-making with Easy Peel Studio
- Urban sketching with Len Grant. (Book tickets here)
- Free, guided photo walk with Steve Marland.
The free-to-attend Stopford House Party will run from 12pm – 5pm.
