One Fell Swoop brings a night of daring aerial circus to Lowry

A daring new circus show rooted in the art form’s vital elements of trust and communication heads to Lowry this September.

One Fell Swoop: By a Thread takes the physicality and risk of aerial performance and draws parallels between the crucial relationships among these performers and day-to-day interactions that happen in the real world.

Told through virtuosic acrobatics and intricate choreography, the show weaves together moments of confusion, hilarity, romance, fear and friendship, mimicking the everyday relationships we have as human beings.

Like these relationships, the production plays on the counterpoint to the danger associated with circus performance by simultaneously celebrating the joy that is gained from working as an ensemble, by taking risks and uncovering possibilities that otherwise would not present themselves.
