The Dancehouse, while officially a ballet school (hence the name), continues to attract the stars of the comedy world – with Joe Rogan joining the likes of Lucy Porter, Robin Ince, Mark Thomas and Bo Burnham to book an appearance on the Oxford Road theatre’s boards over the coming months. Rogan may not be a household name in the UK – but in his native US, he’s huge: he hosts The Joe Rogan Experience, a hugely popular, twice-weekly comedy podcast, and boasts well over a million followers on Twitter. He’s also presented NBC reality show Fear Factor and commentates on Ultimate Fighting Championship – with not one but two jiu-jitsu black belts to his name. So seize this rare chance to catch Rogan live, but woe betide would-be hecklers.
