If you can’t face the crowds at the almost sold-out Indy Man Beer Con this weekend, you can still get your fix of good beer on a much smaller scale as Peter Street’s craft beer bar Brewdog hosts a tasting session and mini-education of US artisan microbrewery, AleSmith. Specialising in handcrafted ales rooted in the craft brewing communities, AleSmith has earned itself quite the following of beer enthusiasts and you can see what the fuss is all about for yourself as Brewdog crack open some bottles to try – and with names including Horny Devil, Wee Heavy, Old Numbskull and Speedway Stout, you can be assured they’ll be anything but bland. The session should last for around 45 minutes and no booking required.
