A special preview screening of new release Gloria at Cornerhouse tonight will be accompanied by a Q&A with the film’s lead actress. The session will feature Paulina García, a Chilean actress, theatre director and playwright who has been working in film, TV and theatre since 1984. The film follows the vibrant life of Gloria, a spirited older woman who still feels young. Directed by Sebastián Lelio, this is an uplifting comedy-drama that helped García win the Best Actress award for her performance at this year’s Berlin Film Festival. Gloria will be released in cinemas on Friday 1 November – but this one-off screening will sure be a must for film lovers across the city.
