Billed tautologically as Europe’s Biggest 10 kilometer run, the Bupa Great Manchester Run returns on Sunday 18 May 2014 – and if you wish to take part then you can register now. Having just celebrated its 10th year, the Commonwealth Games legacy event continues to grow in volume of runners and supporters, with tens of thousands lined up to cheer the runners on every year, as well as live TV coverage. The route is a tour of the landmarks of our lovely city, albeit a rather exhausting one, taking in sites such as Old Trafford, the Imperial War Museum North and Beetham Tower. So set an early goal for yourself before the guilt of New Year’s resolutions comes and do something good for yourself and for charity.
