A new addition to Manchester’s thriving Christmas Market scene, Castlefield Artisan Markets are doing things a little differently this year: bringing the first indoor Victorian Christmas Market to the city centre, and putting a twist on to the well-known formula. Located in the spacious climes of Upper Campfield Market, adjacent to the Museum of Science and Industry, guests can expect artisanal marquees housing the area’s finest food, craft and vintage, as well as cocktails, magic – and even a Victorian funfair. With this on offer, it won’t be difficult to step back in time and soak up the novelty and nostalgia that make Christmas so magical. The party starts with a grand opening on Friday 15 Nov with festive drinks, music, magicians and dancing from 6pm.
