Light Fantastic in Salford

With only a few days left of the final working and school week before Christmas, there’s no denying that the holidays are finally upon us. But as the iceless rivers don’t quite resemble the traditional snowy representation of the season, the River Irwell will instead be made to suit the season this evening with a spectacularly festive firework to mark the occasion. Taking place along the riverside in Salford, warm up with hot chocolate and mince pies, get into the spirit with live music and see the river shimmer and sparkle in festive fashion with a firework display suitable for all the family. The event begins at 6pm, with fireworks starting at 6.30pm.
