Cosmosis – Alternative Festival Of Psychedelic Music & Arts

Like the hypnotic liquid light shows that helped epitomise the psychedelic gig, the psych sub-culture itself is currently moving and changing at a graceful yet dazzling pace. The success of the Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia a few months back has proven just how thriving the current psych scene is both here in the UK and further afield, and now Remake Remodel and Interstellar Overdrive are teaming up to treat Manchester to a brand new festival showcasing psychedelic rock and roll bands from across the globe. Expect performances spanning across two stages from The Warlocks, The KVB, The Telescopes, The Cult of Dom Keller, Lola Colt and The Underground Youth, among many others, with live cosmic and psychedelic visuals to feast your eyes upon – all housed in the scruffily majestic interiors of Antwerp Mansion. Along with vintage clothing stalls, independent food traders and henna tattoos, you’ll also be able to step outside for the Abattoir Blues-curated stage (with the line-up to be announced), as well as a deep space observatory and garden hosted by Berlin Psych Fest. Tickets go on sale Mon 6 Jan at 9am.
