Inspiration is a key part of every job, from cooking to surgery. And this week,  Cornerhouse launches a six-week course that seeks to explore where these flashes of insight and creativity come from. The course includes a screening of Tarantino’s 1994 classic Pulp Fiction, and no prior knowledge is required. One of the commendable aims is to dispel any myths that you are either ‘creative’ or not. The short course is led by Hugh Garry, specialist in innovation, social media and creativity in digital spaces. Check out his blog.

From Thu 16 Jan, The Annexe, Cornerhouse, 70 Oxford Street, M1 5NH, £50 (£35 concessions), 6.30pm weekly for six weeks, www.cornerhouse.org
