Something of national treasure in United States as a result of his appearances on NPR’s This American Life, David Sedaris has written countless New Yorker essays and best-selling books. And in his first ever UK tour, the Edinburgh Fringe star brings his brand of self-deprecating wit to The Lowry. Now resident in West Sussex, his Radio 4 show, Meet David Sedaris (which aptly describes him as ‘one of the world’s best storytellers’), is in its fourth season, mixing remembrances of his Greek childhood with caustic observations on cats, life and, the foibles of himself and others.
