Patterns at St Philips Church

Manchester’s favourite shoegazers Patterns will head up St Philips Church in March for a special performance in support of their debut album, Waking Lines. Described by Crack Magazine as ‘a dreamy debut from a band with serious ambitions’, the album has been met with wide critical acclaim, with its blend of drone pop and DIY electronica securing Patterns at the forefront of the local new music scene. And in this one-off show, the four-piece will be reworking that sound into something even dreamier. Having become renowned for their distinctive live show – last year they performed among the historic arches of John Rylands Library – this time they turn their attention to the grand alter of this Salford church, where they will backed by the 30-piece Manchester Community Choir in what will be a completely unique and unmissable performance. Support comes from electro-guitar outfit Beaty Heart and electro-pop duo-on-the-rise U.V.
