This Saturday’s sketching events at Nexus and Victoria Station could be just the thing to whet your appetite for graphite. As part of International Urban Sketching Day and the 42nd Worldwide Sketch Crawl, it’s a chance to join people all over the world sketching the built environment. Manchester Urban Sketching Group will be starting its five-hour adventure at Victoria Station at 11am, taking in sights like Chetham’s historic music school, and winding up with a ‘show and tell’ at Terrace bar. Nexus Art Cafe, meanwhile, invites you to draw the cafe’s interior or exterior with paper, pencils, pens and wall space provided free of charge.
